Survey: January retail bedding sales ‘solid’

Retail bedding sales were solid in January, a new survey reveals. Piper Sandler’s January Mattress Retailer Survey found total dollar sales were up by a mean of 6.7% in January. That was a weaker performance than in December, when total dollar sales were up by a mean of 8.9%.

In its commentary on the survey results, Piper Sandler said the January performance reflected “another solid month,” with the results being in-line with dollar growth in the fourth quarter.
