Cosco goes retro for 80th anniversary

Dorel Home’s Cosco brand, a supplier of folding furniture, step stools and other home products, is celebrating its 80th anniversary with the introduction of its new Stylaire Classic Collection.

The 16-piece collection features chairs, tables, bar stools, serving carts and step stools in vintage stylings with a refreshed color palette of red, butter yellow, teal and black paired with chrome and some gold-tone legs and accents. It is targeted toward consumers who appreciate the retro style and to those who may have had classic Cosco products in their home when they were growing up.

“Throughout our history, Cosco has developed household products that made life easier, and this new collection honors our roots with a fresh lineup of modern designs and exciting colors for some of our most iconic products,” said Troy Franks, president of Cosco. “We have been a trusted part of American homes for 80 years, and look forward to building on that trust in the years ahead.”

New products in the collection include a 32-inch square folding table, two styles of serving carts, two styles of step stools, a 44-inch round folding table and four styles of chair and step stool, all of which come in a number of colors and finishes. Retail prices range from approximately $24.99 for a step stool to $176.99 for other items in the collection.

The Stylaire Classic Collection will officially launch at the International Housewares Show, March 2-5, at the spring High Point Market, April 6-10, and at the National Hardware Show, May 5-7.
